    In Wowza Media ServerŽ 3.5.0 and earlier, per-stream settings are done by adding query parameters to URLs in .stream files. This is only supported for a limited number of stream types. You can specify more settings by adding properties to Application.xml files and to MediaCaster-specific XML files; however, these settings affect all streams played with the application or MediaCaster.

    In Wowza Media Server 3.5.1, the ability to specify stream-specific settings is expanded to support more stream types and there are more settings that you can configure using JSON common notation. ...
