    Default Live DVR for Flash and Smooth Streaming

    Since both Flash and Silverlight both support DVR functionality now for a live stream, will Wowza implement this feature? I haven't seen anything in the guides that allows me to do this. It would be nice to be able to rewind a live stream rather than waiting for a live record to be done and playing it as a vod.

    We are considering this feature for a future release of Wowza. There is not defintive date for this feature.

    one CDN that use WMS claims to support DVR functionality, is there an unofficial AddOn or a solution that can do that with WMS?

    There is not currently an AddOn for this feature. It is something we are interested in making available in the future. There is no definitive schedule.

    Yeah, we have several partners asking for this feature. Adobe got it, Microsoft IIS got it.
