    Is this under load? Have you used the load test tool to test server and network capacity? You can get it by sending request to test@wowza.com, there is a document to sign and return.

    Do you have multiple VHosts? This thread is about tuning multiple VHosts.

    This is not under significant load (~100 connections). I just requested the tool from the email address you specified, but we've other tests and network/server capacity should not be an issue (we have pretty beefy machines and network). We do not use multiple VHosts.

    We are running Wowza Media Server 2.1.1 build24490 on a Dell R610 - 2 x 2.4 ghz Quad Core, 2 x 500 GB, 24 GB RAM, RAID1

    Each machine has 4 Gbps of bandwidth up to 10 Gbps per data center

    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_23-b05)
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode)

    Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 (Tikanga)

    Zip up and send conf and logs folders to support@wowza.com

    Tell us where to look in the logs, a time frame when this was happening.

    Include a playback URL to test.

    Include a link to this thread for reference.
