I don't know if it's possible, but will there be any Windows Phone 7 support for Wowza? At the moment, there isn't anything that will make the live streams work on WP7 via Internet Explorer Mobile. Any ideas?

We haven't done any testing yet with Windows 7 Mobile. Have you tried Smooth streaming to Silverlight on the device? Try one of the Wowza examples:

We've already tried using Sliverlight players on the Windows Phone 7 and strangely, it doesn't support it. For some reason, there's no Sliverlight plugin for Internet Explorer Mobile, which means you can't view any websites that use Sliverlight like the Sky Player or even some of Microsoft's websites.
What does work is creating a custom player for the phone itself via this tutorial: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/window...ViewModel.aspx but it's a pain and would rather have something play out of the box than having to create a player.
We do have several customers that are streaming to Windows Mobile 7 so we know that it does work. I do not know of any pre-built players. If we learn more then we will post more informatoin to the tutorials section of the website.

If any of your customers can bring to light how it can be done, that would be great!
This comes to the top:

Maybe you could adapt Wowza Smooth players to this.
I'm installing it to see, so far I see it installs to Visual Studio 2010 path, so it is VS plugin. You will probably need VS 2010.

Take a look at this guide:

Windows Phone 7 devices support Microsoft Smooth Streaming through an application. An application is available on the Microsoft Media Platform Player Framework page.
