Stream to all devices
Hi,
I'm thinking of a new business model, so I would like to use Wowza...
The thing is that version 2 has too many issues to transmit a live stream to multiple devices at the same time - Web Flash player, Android devices, iPhone and iPad's.
(problems with audio on android, no flash support on android on MANY devices, etc.)
To get my business working, I need that my customer transmits the stream with a free tool (like FMLE for example) and everyone can see the live stream with computers (web based page), iPhone, iPad's and Android.... Without that, I can't even think about my new busines because mobile devices are rising a lot.
So, is there any simple way to put it ALL working on version 2, or is version 3 ready for everything of this by default?
Thanks to all that read this.

Best way to reach the most devices is to stream to Wowza using:
Video: H.264 Baseline Profile Level 3.0
Audio: AAC up to 48 kHz, stereo audio
Key Frame Interval 2 seconds, frame size 320x240, frame rate 15fps

But I think that the AAC audio plugin for FMLE is payed... So, I have to ask my customers to buy that plugin. Isn't it?
But thanks for those "best" settings Randall.

ffmpeg/vlc can transcode to AAC, and they're free.
You can also try: MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) 8 kHz to 48 kHz, stereo audio
Android seems to support it: http://developer.android.com/guide/a...a-formats.html

What player (JW, QT etc. ?) would you use for streaming to all devices ?

Hi
I would avoid QT but the others seem to be acceptable when stream to all devices,
FlowPlayer, JW Player, etc.
