Tuning specific for BlackBerry LiveStreaming

This thread is for tuning Wowza 3 livestreaming just for BlackBerry devices.

Our client here complaining about inconsistent performance on Blackberry. We have a dedicated Wowza server just to serve BlackBerry devices.

The stream spec

Wirecast
H264 video
AAC Audio
200kbps
30fps

We're using Web Based application with sime HREF link to RTSP and using 1935 port
And still there are some BB devices can't connect to our server

- long buffering time
- cannot playback or server is blocked

So is there any perfect setting just to stream to BB devices ?

so far my settings

use 554 port
use UDP instead of interleaved under mediacaster

Does it say anything in the logs about connections failing post the logs when you start up or post when a connection has just been attempted?
Is there a link to the content you can provide? This would give a better understanding of what happens from the client end.

Changing the mediacaster transport from INTERLEAVED to UDP seems to solve most of our problems......well we're in testing phase.

We also decrease buffer size in VHost.comf and increase rtsp timeout in Application.xml
