Is that Live-Streaming scenario possible? (Firewall issue)

Hello,
We are totally new to Wowza, but your product sounds really interesting.

We searched the documentation but there are still some questions left.

Following scenario:

We want to stream an analog TV-channel (internal home channel) from a Windows Client with TV-card.
The problem is that we are ONLY allowed to make OUTGOING connections to the Internet. So the “Producer” has to push the stream to the Amazon Wowza Media Server.
Is that possible?



Another question is:
Which producer software do we need to live stream to a Wowza Server?

Yes, you can push a stream from an encoder such as Wirecast to the Wowza server.
The default port for streaming is 1935 but can be configured to be port 8080 as the diagram shows.
