    Default restreaming rtsp setup into bitrate

    hello

    i am newly with wowza server 2.2.4 ..I tired to restream rtsp into m3u8 directly but no luck ..It works only when i playing new streamed rtsp..then i can play m3u8 when i stop new streamed rtsp it stop aswell..can i use like this http://......streamguys.net/zee_tv/z...b7af126384675c..

    Hi shane,

    If you're new, start with the VOD Tutorial and get your m3u8 (Cupertino) streaming working.

    For restreaming, see the LiveRepeater Quickstart guide.

    Shane, may I ask, why are you using Wowza 2.x instead of the latest 3.x version? It is recommended to stay current.

    I can use this player fine to play fmle rtmp stream

    [install-dir]/examples/LiveVideoStreaming/clientSilverlight/Default.html

    Is there a normal player other than this that will work for live streams?

    JWplayer not working., Expressions player templates not working.,

    Is it possible to edit the example player and make a normal unbranded player?

    Or is silverlight just not really working yet for live streaming?

    Try JW Player again following this guide:

    Use RTMP streaming in JW Player.
