Error: Wowza Transcoder is not licensed on ec2 lickey

What is causing this error?

I have this lickey license which is meant to support the Transcoder add-on:

WowzaMediaServer-s3-lickey-3.1.1-x86_64 (ami-e6e4418f)

But I get this error when I attempt to transcode. Is there some setup step I am missing?

If you are using a monthly or daily subscription license, then it is probably because you did not replace default key in [install-dir]/conf/Server.license with your own key.

If you are a perpetual license user, then you will need to purchase a separate Transcoder license. You can purchase from this page. You'll then need to stack your Transcoder key with your perpetual key by adding it on a separate line to Server.license (order does not matter).
