    Try setting the key frame frequency to 2 seconds (click the little wrench icon next to h.264)

    If MP3, try stereo 44100Hz, which is what works in many iOS devices. And if possible try AAC instead. You need the MainConcept AAC plugin for FMLE, or Wirecast includes same.

    The box supports rtsp streaming.

    2011-07-26 14:40:13 MSD play stream INFO 200 myStream.sdp - _defaultVHost_ live _definst_ 0.061 192.168.0.150 1935 rtsp://192.168.0.150:1935/live/myStream.sdp 192.168.0.14 rtsp - STB MAG200 media player 249786822 0 0 3 0 0 0 myStream.sdp - - - - - rtsp://192.168.0.150:1935/live/myStream.sdp rtsp://192.168.0.150:1935/live/myStream.sdp - rtsp://192.168.0.150:1935/live/myStream.sdp -

    That's what is written in Wowza's access log.

    The key frame frequency was 2 seconds almost since the beginning of experiments with the STB. The same can be said about MP3 44100KHz. I'll probably try AAC tomorrow. Changing to h.264 4.1 didnt't help.

    First, make sure you are using Wowza 2.2.4.01, starting here if necessary:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....oduction-Build

    Then apply critical patch for RTSP streaming:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....lopment-Builds

    Also, follow the mobile trouble-shooting guide, including the linked RTSP guide in step 3:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-(RTSP-RTP-out)

    (I realize this is not mobile, but the mobile trouble shooting guide has good suggestion for RTSP in general)

    With the above changes, after additional testing, if still a problem, zip up and send conf *and* logs folders to support@wowza.com

    Include make/model etc of the STB.

    Include a link to this forum post for reference

    Also, if it does work, let us know what the make/model of the STB is because we are collecting info.

    Thanks,
    Richard

    The problem is on the STB side. The STB's tech support said they didn't find a way to play live rtsp stream from Wowza.
    The STB is http://iptv.infomir.com.ua/en/mag250/ MAG 250 MINI, H/W revision is 1.4-BD-00
    We temporarily solved the problem by using VLC to wrap the stream into http.

    PS thank you for help

    Well, the tech support of the STB has finally answered. The problem is solvable quite easyly. I just have to add
    Code:
                                    <Property>
                                    <Name>forceMPEGTSOut</Name>
                                    <Value>true</Value>
                                    <Type>Boolean</Type>
                                    </Property>
                                    <Property>
                                   <Name>rtpWrapMPEGTS</Name>
                                    <Value>true</Value>
                                    <Type>Boolean</Type>
                                    </Property>
    to the RTP/Properties section of the application's config file. Now the STB plays the RTSP stream.
    By the way, where can I read about these advanced properties? The user manual says nothing about them. Is there some sort of "advanced user manual" or "wowza for admins" book?

    I think I answered this here:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/showthre...de-live-stream

    You can use rtmpe instead of rtmp in Flash

    You can use rtsp in VLC or mobile device that supports rtsp.

    Try to keep same, similar issue in one place, please.
