    Default live stream from mpeg-ts

    hi,

    i have mpegts stream going into wowza machine.
    i created an application called C2 and configure it as the tutorial said (copied conf file from /live app)

    i created mpegts.stream file in /content folder.
    in the file there is the udp address and the port (udp://0.0.0.0:45678) which the ts is coming.

    i'm using jwplayer to watch the live stream. the problem is that i hear (probably) 1 audio frame, no video, and that's it.

    i also see incoming bitrate on task manager but still, no audio/video are playing here.

    jwplayer code is :
    Code:
    		<script type="text/javascript">
    			var s1 = new SWFObject("./jwplayer/player-viral.swf","ply","640","480","9","#FFFFFF");
    			s1.addParam("allowfullscreen","true");
    			s1.addParam("allowscriptaccess","always");
    			s1.addParam("flashvars","provider=rtmp&fullscreen=true&streamer=rtmp://67.202.45.37/C2&file=mpegts.stream");
    			s1.write("container");
    		</script>
    what ma i doing wrong ?

    help please, it's kind of emergency

    It's playing well on SimpleVideoStreaming player. You might just need to start it up first with StreamManager.

    http://[wowza-address]:8086/streammanager

    The first time you play it in Flash player is like starting it up. If you stop and start in JW player it should start now.

    you are correct.
    it really works with your example !.

    i used the stream manager to "start up" the stream, but still, jw player does not want to show my stream although there is a lot of incoming bitrate.

    any other suggestions ?

    i really appreciate your help !

    thank you,
    koby

    What version of JW player is it?

    You are using the viral plugin. Try the regular player.

    That player is using a different rtmp and stream then what we were testing before. Let's go back to that:.

    provider=rtmp&streamer=rtmp://67.202.45.37/C2&file=mpegts.stream

    I took out the Fullscreen part, that belongs as param in the embed/swfobject.

    But in anycase, this is not working in JW Player 5, but it does work in JW Player 4.5.

    I think the latest 4.x version is 4.7. Get that. Change provider=rtmp to type=rtmp in version 4.7 and it will work.

    It would be a good idea to post on JW player forum too. They will probably be interested.
