Where the application lives
I am building a communications portal for kids in the hospital. One goal is to have the application (swfs) be able to be ran on the hospitals servers and just use my data and services.
If I were to have a chat room or a video chat room, can I connect to Wowza to provide the stream and RemoteSharedObject without it being on the same machine or in the Applications directory?

Yes, in fact the SWF files do not belong in the Wowza folders. They have to be on a web server, and the web server can be anywhere. The swf files are stored on a web server, which sends to a browser, and it is from there, running in the user's browser, that it connects to the Wowza server.
