NAB 2015 Recap

April 29, 2015 by Wowza Media Systems

NAB 2015 was a great success for the Wowza team! We met with a lot of people that are enthusiastic about streaming and are excited to start or continue using Wowza technology to accomplish these projects.

We know that it can be difficult to keep up with all of the news coming out during and after NAB, so here are some of our highlights.

Wowza Streaming Cloud™

We announced our cloud-based professional-grade streaming service at the show after having had it in preview for the preceding months. Wowza Streaming Cloud lets you pay for only what you use and offers full control for streaming pros, as well as preconfigured settings for new users. Get more information about Wowza Streaming Cloud or start a free Cloud Trial.

Wowza Streaming Engine Pro™

The latest version of our powerful streaming server software, Wowza Streaming Engine Pro now offers unlimited transcoding, which eliminates per-channel transcoding charges. Additionally, Wowza Transcoder, Wowza nDVR, and Wowza DRM—all formerly Premium AddOns—are now built into the core product. Learn more about the benefits of Wowza Streaming Engine Pro.

Customer highlight sessions

We are proud to have so many fantastic and creative customers. At NAB we were lucky enough to do joint presentations with Duke University, TV2 Norway, Southeastern University, Kaltura, and Field59. Take a look at the Duke University presentation now.

Interviews, spotlights, and demos

Our executives were busy people at NAB! We captured their thoughts on video at each interview, discussion, and presentation they were a part of. Take a look at the Wowza NAB video library to see them in action and having fun.
