First off, version 4.2 is now available for both Wowza Streaming Engine 4 standard and bring-your-own-license (BYOL) offerings. New features in the Wowza Streaming Engine Manager user interface, as well as within the API, allow users to easily manage their live streaming content delivery to large and distributed audiences through content delivery networks (CDNs), the Wowza Streaming Cloud service, and other destinations. We have also updated our Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) to support HVM, the virtualization technology recently adopted by Amazon, which enables support for the latest instance types—including M4, C4, and T2.
