live streaming from flash media encoderand rtsp playback in vlc

Hi,

I’m streaming a live feed from flash media encoder to my wowza server:

fms url: rtmp://my_wowza_ip/number2

stream: test1

The stream is played without a problem in jw player, as well as in brightcove player, but i cannot seem to play the stream as rtsp / rtp in vlc player.

rtsp://my_wowza_ip:1935/number2/test1 doesn’t play.

i configured the live application using this tutorial:

Did you do step 3d in that guide?

Are you using h.264 format? VP6 won’t work for this case.

Switched to h264, and rtsp is working, thanks!

Do you know any rtp player where i could check that?
