Custom User Authentication Plugin

Hi,

We would like a custom plugin written to authenticate through connect.password file.

We would like the user to be limited to X number of connections on a server farm-wide basis. So if 10 servers around the world, can only connect X times between all servers, otherwise rejected. So some sort of centralized DB of who’s connected etc…

All servers are Linux based, and no hard time frame, but don’t forsee it taking that long.

centralized DB is ok for 10 servers even under high load
