Would love to see the MediaSecurity AddOn Package expanded so that it’s possible to use Active Directory for authentication, rather than just local accounts in “[install-dir]/conf/publish.password”. My largest need would be to limit content to any authenticated user, next would be to enable access to group members or individuals.
We don’t have any AD examples, but there are Java packages that facilitate that and could be put together with this override publish example in a Wowza module:
