m3u8 for iOS opens in ios embeded player

Hi

I have a problem with the stream links for iOS devices…

Since the new change with the definst variable the ios device opens the link into its embedded player with the big play button and after tapping that button the stream loads.

Is there any solution to open the stream directly without opening in that embedded player?

I tried a javascript load and play function but it doesnt work.

Any idea on this ?

There is not any change regarding definst. It has been same since beta versions of Wowza.

If you are playing through HTML5 video tag, the iOS device will open its built-in player. Also not new.
