I want to stream to an html5 video element. IE 9 supports the mp4 container in the video element which is perfect because that’s the video format I’m working with. I just need to know how to construct the source url. Do i do it the same way i would if i were streaming to silverlight? Are there any considerations on the server side that I need to consider?

You need Flash or Silverlight plugin to stream from Wowza to IE9. Only Safari on iOS devices or Mac OSX support (Cupertino) streaming from Wowza with HTML5 video element
