Wowza Transcoder Pricing
So i was wondering, i read that most stream are transcoded at the orgin and then was sent to the liverepeater edge, but at what cost?
Lets say that i have 2 incoming streams on the origin server which are then transcoded in to 2 groups of 5 streams which equals 10 streams, do i then have to pay for all 10 incoming streams on the edge server or do i just have to pay one time for each group?

The Transcoder costs are only at the origin. In your case it is two "channels", the incoming live streams. You can have as many transcoded renditions as you want. There are no Transcoder costs between the edge and the origin.
