wowza WebRTC preview , I can not connect with firefox

hi.

Currently I’m trying to preview wowza webRTC, but I can not connect with firefox.

The connection seems to be broken in the middle when getting SDP from webSocket connection with wowza

The following will be the log at that time

The cause of the error

When sending sdp from firefox to websocket of wowza and sending 1101 or more letters

An error occurred

firefox info : 51.0.1 (64 bit)

wowza : 4.6.0

When you get back to us, thank you for your reply.

Hello,

There was some Firefox changes that was addressed in Wowza Streaming Engine 4.6.0.01. I would recommend opening a support case here and request the latest Wowza Streaming Engine update that should resolve the Firefox connection issues you are having.

Regards,

JasonT

I’m having pretty much the same issue:

HTTPRequestAdapter.service WebSocket invalid opCode: 7

Does downloading the latest Wowza installer: https://www.wowza.com/pricing/installer work or the new version is not public yet. The name of the package is WowzaStreamingEngine-4.6.0-linux-x64-installer.run

Hello @Samson Radu

The link you are referring to is a pubic installer vs an updater; the public installer does not have the current Firefox fixes. With a current support agreement you can access an updater that has these improvements (Current is 4.6.0.04) at: www.wowza.com -> My Account -> My Downloads

Regards,

Jason
