Hi Arturo. Of course, it’s possible to stream directly to Facebook Live. But there are many reasons to let send your stream to a Wowza Server, or Wowza Cloud, and distribute it further from there. Here are a few examples:

If you want to stream to Facebook, YouTube and/or a CDN at the same time

If your input stream is a in a non-compliant format, and needs transcoding

If you want to secure your stream

If you want to provide an Adaptive Bitrate stream, for a better user experience

etc.
The biggest problem is for streaming providers, right?
Because it’s not possible to offer this very requested feature for the customers.
