How to stream only audio for android

I am trying out the trial version of Wowza GoCoder and Streaming Cloud. I would like to record audio with a microphone and stream it onto the server and receive it on another device. So far i have been able to stream to the server but when i try to use the play back url

Apple HLS:

https://1416f6.entrypoint.cloud.wowza.com/app-4823/ngrp:006c8847_all/playlist.m3u8

I am not able to play the audio in my android device. Is there a way to get the audio in .mp3 format?
I have used Wowza GoCoder as my encoder under the video source and transcoder.

Hello,

I see that this was discussed in a support ticket.

I see that in regard to the audio playback issue that it was solve the by using exomedia player in android that supports m3u8 format instead of the native mediaplayer.
