Player for educational use with chapters and quiz question support​ (e.g., H5P)

Hello,

We are a center at a university that assists instructors with delivering streaming media to students for educational purposes. We currently are using Wowza paired with JWPlayer. However, after learning about the pedagogical potential of apps like the video player for H5P, it would be great if there was a similar application that supports m3u8 and playlists. (H5P only accepts mp4 and youtube streams.)

The key function would be to be able to embed questions into the video.

Ideal functions would be:

• integration into an LMS (e.g., Moodle or Canvas) gradebook (which H5P does).
• a simplified editor for instructors to add questions, chapters and captions.

Does anyone happen to know of applications that might have some of these, or similar features that is compatible with Wowza?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HLS is just a delivery method. Regarding your specific questions, this community is not really for that and integration app questions.

Wowza playback delivery can be used to power many backends for Live and VOD distribution, as long as that app supports the protocols we deliver.
