Where should install eclipse for Wowza IDE

Hello there,

I have few questions about Wowza IDE, I appreciate that if could hear any idea from any of you.

When I create new wowza project, “Wowza Streaming Engine Location” is required. How does the path look like? In the article, it says that should contain the full path to Wowza Streaming Engine installation folder.

I installed eclipse in my windows desktop and have already got Wowza IDE, but Wowza Streaming Engine is installed in Linux server. In this case, the installation folder should be directory in the server? Or Should I also install eclipse in the Linux server where I installed Wowza Streaming Engine?

Thanks for contacting the Wowza Community!

You can just create your own path and then you can move the completed compiled object to your linux server.

The directory part enables the program to save the files directly to your Wowza install folder. You just need to move them in your case.
