Wowza Player Controls Bar and Fit Player

Hey!

First of all I would like to know how to disable control bar in Wowza Player. Second is possible to fit the video size for to fill width 100% and height 100% of div without black bars and empty spaces?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Thanks for contacting the Wowza Community!

Here is a link to the Wowza Player documentation. Can you review this. Player Documentation

Also here are the FAQs of the Wowza Player

Regarding the control bar and disabling it, I do not see an option for that. You can disable all features on the control bar.

For the player sizing, I see these options in the documentation:

Configuring Wowza Player video size
Select Responsive under Widescreen or Standard to make the player resize itself to fit the webpage or container it's in while maintaining the selected aspect ratio. Black bars are added to fill empty space if the size of the video differs from the size of the player. If using Responsive, set the Max width to restrict the maximum size to which the player can be stretched.Select Custom to enter a width and height that differs from preset values. Note that Wowza Player might not be able to play video that has a Width that's less than 320px.Available Widescreen preset sizes: 1080p (1920x1080), 768p (1366x768), 720p (1280x720), WSVGA(1024x600), PAL (1024x576), VGA (640x360), QVGA (320x180)Available Standard preset sizes: 1080i (1440x1080), 720p 720p (960x720), VGA (640x480), QVGA (320x240)

Hope this helps. If any further questions, feel free to contact us.

Hey Jermaine.

First of all thank you for reply.

So before open this thread I had seen both documentation and FAQ. Including I didn't see in documentation how to disable all features on the control bar. I try to set false all options but anyway they continue to appear on control bar.

About the available widescreen preset sizes all show black spaces sometimes vertically sometimes horizontally depending on the chosen resolution and the camera model. In JWPlayer has the option stretching "exactfit' those player fit in div perfectly as in following example in session Stretching Examples (https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/developer-guide/customization/configuration-reference/). Wowza player has that option?

Best Regards and thank you again.

Hi, I have the same problem, I would like to disable seek and forward when a video is played first time. I checked all docs, faq and a few other pages. Is this even possible with wowza player?
