When you create a stream target is counted as an out going stream? Conducting a test using WSE I see one active stream (wirecast encoder) in coming stream, however I don’t see a stream push to my edge server. The stream target is functional and I can see the live stream on a test player on an hosted web page. So its working as expected except for in application monitoring I expect to see to streams counted. 1 stream for the encoder and a second for the stream target. I do see an in crease in streams when I select a test player to play the stream.
So . Stream Targets not send to your edge server? May you have wrong config.

No the stream went to the edge server. My question or observation is why the server monitor (on the origin server) doesn’t show the additional stream (from select stream)? The server monitor only showed one stream, the one coming from the encoder. Then I launched the test player in WSE and the server monitor had 2 streams listed. I was able to go the edge server and see the stream in it’s test player and go to the test site with the Wowza player and play the stream. The player uses the edge server to get the stream, which got it from the origin server.
