AC3 decoding support - all patents expired

Can AC3 decoding support be added to Wowza Transcoder as all patents related to AC3 expired in 2017-03-19?

I will add your transcoder AC-3 request to our feature request backlog. Our Product Development Team does review all requests but we don’t have a timeframe on when this may be added.
