I need to test Rest API, so I’m running wowza streaming cloud in Sandbox mode. Using sandbox mode I can’t connect the stream from Telestream Wirecast to wowza cloud. Is it normal? In wirecast i get the error “cannot connect to the rtmp flash server at the given ip address”
If I do any api call I get the error 404. Is it normal?
Hi Sergio,
The Cloud Sandbox environment is only intended for testing API calls. It does not actually create transcoder instances or stream targets. You will need to test the API in the production environment to be able to stream from your encoder.
