HTTPStreamerAdapterCupertinoStreamer.onPlaylist: Stream not found

Hey Richard,

I see you've answered some similar questions in the forums...

We are using a Wowza 3.6.2 instance (installed on linux box with the latest CentOS version) to re-stream an RTSP IP Camera. We setup the public-facing server and got everything installed and working yesterday. At the end of the day yesterday I could open http://ourcompanyip:1935/live/camera.stream/playlist.m3u8 on my iOS devices AND I could also open http://ourcompanyip:1935/live/camera.stream/manifest.f4m in the provided FlashHTTPPlayer example media player.

When I came in this morning, it is no longer working and this is the error I get (see bolded lines below):

On my iOS devices, it tries to load the stream then shows a popup that states: The operation could not be completed.

In my FlashHTTPPlayer it gives me a stream 2032 error.

I can hit the cameras directly from VLC with the address I've entered in camera.stream, so I know the camera is responding fine, in a timely manor, with no errors.

I have uninstalled WowzaMediaServer (via Yum) and reinstalled via the rpm.bin available from your website. I get the same exact error after setting everything back up.

We have a big media event tomorrow that we need this all working for. Your timely help as to possible causes would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Matt Reynolds

Matt,

It is most likely some interruption in the network, and the stream was not reset. You can manually reset in the StreamManager, and this MediaCaster monitor might help.

You are correct sir. The camera has a PoE converter and we were on an outlet that experienced load during the day. That load was enough to cause attenuation to the line such that the camera was no longer being found reliably by its setup software. We moved one end of the conversion system to another outlet closer to the other end of the system and it resumed working. We're planning on using a PoE switch which should resolve the problem all together.

Many thanks!
