Is it possible to load balance source streams from encoders?

Here is my scenario… I will have dozens of incoming streams that I would like to have all sent to one application on one server. I will also be doing some light transcoding on these streams. I would like to setup an encoder load balance scenario as well as a playback load balancing.

How would I load balance encoders?

Short answer, sure… it’s possible. The long answer depends on your encoder sources and your deployment environment. Can you provide more details?

Currently all encoder sources are RTMP streams from OBS. Eventually, I would like to have them all be WebRTC based sources. I am running WSE on a single EC2 instance.
