Live streaming only if i put port number in stream url

Why live streaming is working for

http://[wowza-ip]:1935/application/steam/playlist.m3u8

and not for

http://[wowza-ip]/application/steam/playlist.m3u8

Have you verified your server has a virtual host config to listen on port 80? You can go to the console and choose Server --> Virtual Host Setup.
