need to implement new stop and start stream function

Hi,

below is our player url

Now we need to implement a function to start and stop stream like you tube gives and we want to play a banner stream is stop right now due o tea break or some thing else how can we do that or if there is any provider who can help us with this please let us know.in other words we want to manage that player like a master player with username password access because we haven’t seen this function in wowza GUI Please suggest or help any provider.

we want to do this thing with live stream not recording.

Hello @Adnan Baig, I believe you are asking how to implement DVR capabilities in a live stream. You’d like to be able to control the start and stop of the live stream in the player correct?

DVR capability enables your viewers to pause/resume playback of live streams and rewind backward in the live stream/fast-forward to current live playback point.

To support this feature in Wowza Player, you must enable and configure nDVR technology in Wowza Streaming Engine.

As fas as user/password protection between Engine and the Player, yes we allow for that. You can learn how to do that here:

Lastly to add graphic overlays for a banner stream, you can do that to and here is the doc for that. Yes, we do have consultants to suggest, but let me know if you were able to get it set yourself.
