My rtsp link is not working in wowza engine but it is working well in VLC

Hello Team,

I have installed WOWZA streaming engine on Windows platform and with my Hikvision IP camera trying to setup streaming. I have tested engine with your test rtsp link and it is working fine.

But my rtsp link which is working well with VLC media player is not working with WOWZA after following all steps.

Please help.

Do you mean that the RTSP link is not working in the Wowza Player, but it working in the VLC Player? You said that you tested the sample stream and it worked fine.

The Wowza Player only supports HLS protocol.

If you desire to use the RTSP stream, you will need to either use another player that supports RTSP or use base stream on Android.

So, what player are you using with your RTSP stream? Thanks.
