We are an enterprise user and need to configure our WSE implementation to log specific attributes present in our environment. We are trying to configure the section in the Server.xml to capture and log these attributes as we do with our other Tomcat based services, but we are not haing any luck. Does WSE NOT support this? If not, can someone point us to a custom log genration example in Linux/Centos7? Thanks.

According to our engineers, we do not have a valve section in our server.xml it turns out and we currently don’t have a custom log example to share with you.

OK, that is unfortunate. I am confused how this is not an issue for others with logging requirements when deployed into an enterprise environment? With AMS, given it was Apache based, we could simply configure the logs with our specific attributes and it was a slam dunk. I guess we will incorporate creating a custom log file in our module we have already written. This can be done relatively easy, but it will not give us access to the Tomcat items that we would get when incorporating into the Valve section of the Server.XML. Thanks!
We ended up implementing this custom logging solution in our Module and were able to capture all of our custom values. Great solution.
