NAS drive location configuration

We updated our environment from Windows base to Linux (Centos) for Wowza Streaming Server. Our content is on NAS drive location for streaming purpose, However, now we are implying the same configuration on Linux box we aren’t getting XML output.

We made changes to the below location:

From:

====

default

${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}/content

To:

===

\IP-ADDRESS\NAS_Directory_location\Content

Hope the above variable configuration is correct for LINUX BOX.

Linux uses forward-slashes as directory separator; and presumably you must mount the NAS as a Linux volume. The commands for mounting depend on the type of NAS that you have.

PS: if your NAS is slow and you happen to have an SSD disk in your server you may consider to enable MediaCache, a caching solution for reading VOD from slow(er) sources.
