You can’t upload it like another file. You would need full access to your own server or go with a streaming hosting provider.
Wowza is unlimited connection and you are only limited by how good your server is. 500 would be easy on a ‘proper’ server.
An instance is a version of an application. If you wrote a chat room application you could create multiple instances, these allow you to have separate chat rooms without having to write a new application for each room.
Each person on the webcam (who wants privacy) would be in a separate instance, however you would only write one application called ‘webcam room’.
