We have live streaming application of Mobile TV. In some way, like Red5 publishers, anyone can be connected to our wowza server by the server ip. Its risky for us because by this connection, they can access our server internal information. How can it be restricted that Red5 publisher can't be connected in this way?
We provide a number of options to secure your streaming media. Please see
this list of security features for full details. For example, you can restrict access to content via
IP Whitelists directly within the Streaming Engine Manager.
A simpler approach however may be the use of firewalls and port redirection to protect your internal network. All depends on where the threat is, and what you want and do not want exposing to the Internet.
