Is it possible to customize the representation id in manifest.mpd?

There is currently an enhancement request on adding customization to the representation ID of an MPEG-DASH manifest. However, I cannot give you a timeframe as to when it will become available.

Hi @Jason Hatchett, any news about this? I’ve got a case where we need fixed representation IDs; currently they change regularly. What triggers generation of a new representation ID?
