Trouble streaming live 3GP

Hello

I’m looking for a solution to stream semi-live RTSP to old mobile devices. Content must be preencoded and on HDD.

I’m talking H.263 + AMR, and MPEG-4 SP + AAC-LC.

I’ve found that semi-live streaming can be done using StreamPublisher module and it works perfectly with MP4 files.

Yet when I try to ingest preencoded 3GP files the Stream won’t play or I would receive only audio (AAC).

Below is my SMIL file and media info.

I’m on trial license.

I couldn’t find any documentation about 3GP compatibility or stream mapping.

Can Wowza Streaming Engine stream those formats using StreamPublisher module?

Thanks for contacting Wowza Forums!

We only support 3gp files with H.264, AAC or MP3 content. We do not support H.263 or any other formats in a 3gp container.
