Wowza stream recording Auto or manual locally without accessing remote server

Hi,

I am looking for solution on recording stream from local machine without accessing Wowza stream server remotely, We don’t want admin to remotely access server and then initiate recording ? Can we user Wowza Api or is there some flexible solution that we can initiate recording locally ?

Hello,

You might want to investigate using the LiveStreamRecorder module, which includes an API that you should be able to use remotely to control recordings using HTTP calls.
