A broadcast component reported the following error during the PREPARE_FOR_BROADCAST transition

severity : ERROR

error class : WOWZStreamingError

error code : 49

description : A timeout occurred while attempting to connect

everytime when i start the stream

The error ‘Connection Time Out’ indicates that the encoder can not connect to Wowza. I would try several things

• Wowza Streaming Cloud or Engine is started and accessible - Use Wowza Streaming Cloud or Engine Manager to see if you can login and see everything is working as expected

• Instead of a hostname use an IP address - DNS may not be working

• Have you enabled/installed a new firewall ? Perhaps allowing port 1935 is required.
