Does Aminet 130 have linux inside ? If yes, do U have access to telnet or ssh ? Does Aminet 130 reconect to wowza server after stream fail (for example wowza server restart) … Can U setup to automaticaly open any stream after restart of amino box ?
can anybody test , to Live encoding with FMLE and Live streaming example in wowza … and receiver RTSP from wowza in AMINO130 …

i just bought a A130 for testing purposes. I can’t manage to make it works with rtsp live stream
the stream is working using vlc as client, but with the amino A130, it is not. Enabling DEBUG log level, i can see that the box repeateadly send DESCRIBE instruction to wowza until the rtpSession is destroyed.
if i set up a wowza server in the same local network than the box, it works. Do you have any hints about this problem?

on the wowza server? all ports are open (iptables INPUT/OUTPUT chains are on ACCEPT policy by default)
I know it’s a routing issue, but i was hoping someone ran into the same problem and has a solution.
since i’m able to send udp traffic to the server using netcat, i don’t understand why amino/wowza can’t.
If i specify the ip in the section of my Application.xml, wowza tells me it can’t bind to the ports
RTPUDPTransport.bind[liveedge/definst]: Failure to bind to address: java.lang.NullPointerException: address

It’s weird. I’ve managed made this box working with distant rtsp server, but i’m oblideg to open and redirect the 11111 udp on the NAT router in front of A130.
Analysing traffic between A130 and Wowza, it seems that the box knock at the door of WMS using rtsp (tcp, classical), then close the connection and after that, WMS open an UDP connection to the public ip of A130 on port 11111
does anybody have a different behaviour?

Hi, I have an Amino 130 with A130-0.17.2-opera-gogi Firmware installed and the screen just goes black when I enter the rtsp address. Any suggestions? All UDP ports are open on my server. I am running Wowza 2.1.2 build24878.

Is it possible to use Wowza Media Server on a dedicated server (in the Cloud) to broadcast to Amino STBs over the internet or to users in different countries.

I have just purchased Amino 130, and it works with RTSP links.
But if the bitrate is higher than 1 Mbit, the image is not smooth, and I only get about 2-3 frame/sek. At 2 Mbit the picture never shows up.
I need to run at least 4 Mbit to get a decent picture quality for broadcast.
We are running both Amino and Wowzaserver on a local network, so the bandwidth should not be a problem.
I have also tried to play the stream from a normal Quicktime player, and it looks smooth in both 2, 4, 6 and even 10 Mbit. So the wowza seems to run perfect.
Have you any experience with Amino STB and bitrate/resolution. Not much fun about streaming i HD, if you only got ½ Mbit.
