I am testing the Wowza streaming engine on AWS EC2 server. Everything works fine until I use H265 encoding. To summarise my set up to show the issue, I have an incoming stream which is SRT 11mbps I then connect it to a stream target with NO transcoding etc (just straight through) and then send that out. At random intervals I get hits on the stream (like a brief total drop out). Latency does not effect it and I have confirmed the dropouts are not on the incoming stream to Wowza…so I deduce it is an issue with wowza streaming engine (running the latest version), if I run in H264 all works perfectly. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I have been trying to resolve for 2 days now - whew!
