Can we modify a wowza instance and save it as our own AMI?

Hi,

We are bootling wowza instances using https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-nqvjwn3d6ouqa but we’re making some changes each time (incl. copying a few hundred MB of files) I’d like to know if it’s possible for us to boot up one instance, create the modifications and then boot future instances from that new ami?

Will doing so affect the licensing?

It was determined this a question better suited for AWS based on how we have things set up with their marketplace @Matthew_Hailwood. The licensing protocol goes through them actually.
