I have tried Wirecast and Gocoder to send a stream using WebRTC, I am using the demo play.html to view the video in Chrome… The video is playing great, about 1/2 second delay but the icon to unmute the audio is greyed out. Any suggestions?

Were you able to resolve this greyed out icon? You must have the most recent version of Engine- do you have 4.7.7? This is the version where WebRTC is out of preview and has more functionality.
If you are still having an issue, will you kindly submit a support ticket?
