I am trying to provide an audio-only version of an existing audio/video stream in parallel to the original via Wowza.
I’ve tried creating a SMIL file for the stream containing the audio stream only, but that doesn’t appear to work, since the resulting stream doesn’t contain the audio from the base stream.
I’ve not found a way to create a custom playlist.m3u8 only containing a specific part of a stream.
Is there a way to achieve this without having to “transcode” or re-stream the audio/video stream, removing the video part in the process?
