Issues in upgrading to Wowza 4.8.20 - StatsDatabaseManager instance not available

Tried to find but seems to search result related to StatsDatabaseManager are quite few, basically we are evaluating the latest Wowza version and found out this in the log entry, and as a result when log into the Wowza dashboard, the Connection chart is showing a spinner loading icon only.
In the mean time, stream itself as well as other HttpProviders are all seems working as expected.

Further to this, the problem seems to be that Wowza isn’t starting the StatsManager despite the stats being enabled. We found we could manually start it by toggling the ‘enable monitoring and statistics’ option for the server off, then on and clicking Save. However, if we restart the instance the StatsManager gets shut down, but still isn’t being started upon engine restart. Looks like a bug in the way it saves/parses the config? Is there any way we can fix this so the stats manager starts when the Engine starts?

@Rob_Whatmough You’ll need to do a Wowza Server level restart vs a virtual instance restart.

Wowza Streaming Engine Manager -> Server -> Restart button to the right

Hi Jason,
We did reboot at both server level, or even with a machine reboot, it always failed to start the StatsManager as expected, even though it’s showing on/checked from the Wowza portal.
