Yesterday, the VOD (via S3) streams on my client’s website stopped working. Upon investigating I saw the hard disk of the server on which Wowza is installed was full. I checked the logs and saw countless entries with the following error:
PublishingProviderMediaReader.play : java.lang.ArithmeticException
I deleted the log files and also updated to 4.8.10. Everything was working fine after a restart, but this morning same thing. I had to delete the log files again and restart the server. Any ideas what could cause this error that can fill up the har drive log within a matter of hours? I couldn’t find any reference to this error.
