straming from encoders

I have an encoder which I am encoding television services, these are connected to a switch that is on the network of a server where I have Wowza up, but when I configure the encoder output in wowza it does not get the specific bitrate

We would need a lot more information on your workflow. Are you saying that you tried to configure the bitrate in the encoder, but you did not see that bitrate option in the playback? What protocols are you using?

Did you set up a SMIL file in Engine?
